Internationally celebrated and Award winning musician Amanda Black, will be gracing the stage for 1 NIGHT ONLY at Emperors Palace. An iconic art piece of African storytelling, the Amanda Black Show is a musical showcase curated by the Award winning singer - songwriter consisting of songs and stories from her debut album Amazulu and her sophomore album Power. Her music is themed around telling authentic African Stories, and is weaved with creative storytelling and poetry. The show will also be celebrating her 5th year anniversary as a platinum selling recording artist in the industry.

Amanda first came to the limelight as a contestant on the popular TV Show, Idols South Africa, where she contested 3 times, only breaking ground in season 11 where she made the final 7.
Almost a year later she took the industry by storm after the release of her critically acclaimed hit single and debut album Amazulu in 2016, an inspiring and easily relatable soulful piece which went on to get her numerous nominations and wins at several music Awards, including 3 South Africa Music Awards, 2 Metro Awards and a BET International artist of the year nomination. Titled after her first single, her debut album was certified platinum only three weeks after its release.  She then went on to perform on numerous prestigious stages, such as the Cape Town international Jazz festival in 2018, Making her international stage debut in 2020 at the sought after Essence Music Festival which annually takes place in New Orleans. She has headlined an array of concerts incuding the Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts in 2018 amongst many others. In 2019 she released her triumphant sophomore album titled Power which, true to her Award winning streak, won Best Album at the South African Afro Awards in 2021.

Amanda recently released a new single titled Kutheni Na featuring the Award winning Kwesta, from her much anticipated upcoming third album titled Mnyama where she reflects on the onset of the Covid pandemic and her mental health and the state of the country.
