Checkers Women of the Year awards at Emperors Palace

Emperors Palace is privileged to host the 2012 Shoprite Checkers Women of the Year awards, in line with Women’s Day. The commemorative event which identifies exceptional and visionary women who have excelled with determination and willpower to make an impact on the future of fellow South Africans, will be broadcasted on 8 August.

All South Africans are invited to participate by nominating those women with a vision on the future and who makes our nation proud in five categories, namely: Health Care-Givers; Educators; Socio-Economic Business Developers; Good Neighbours Against Crime and Youth Movers.

After the nationwide search, judges will make a final decision where winners will be announced at a spectacular gala evening on 21 July 2012 at Emperors Palace. Don’t miss this amazing event whereby South Africa pays tribute to women who have not only achieved in their own field but who have also uplifted communities as a whole. The inspirational initiative identifies exceptional involvement and determination from women across the country, all active in their own particular niche working towards transformation.
