Ubunye, meaning ‘unity’ in Zulu, is
conceived as a
commemoration of the historic multi-party negotiating talks
that
took place at the World Trade Centre, the site of the
Emperors
Palace resort, and which culminated in the birth of the
country’s
new democracy.
The Exhibition tells the fascinating story of the
multi-party
negotiations that forged the road to democracy, in dynamic
multi-dimensional multimedia exhibitions.
The highlight of the Exhibition features specially created
waxworks of historical personalities such as former
President
Nelson Mandela and others who played a role during the
talks.
